Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Battery Storage Long Term Service Agreement (LTSA) Manager to represent MN8 Energy as Owner of utility-scale battery assets. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working with battery products and a strong understanding of the CAISO energy storage market.
As a Battery Storage LTSA, Sr Analyst:
- Contract Management: Oversee and manage long-term service agreements for utility-scale battery storage projects, ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of battery storage systems, analyzing data to ensure optimal operation and identifying areas for improvement.
- Vendor Coordination: Liaise with service providers, manufacturers, and other stakeholders to coordinate maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all battery storage operations comply with ISO, Utility, NERC, and other relevant standards.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular performance reports to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and any issues that need addressing.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and service activities, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with battery storage operations, including technical, financial, and regulatory risks.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, service providers, and customers.
Our Ideal candidate would have:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with utility-scale battery products.
- Strong knowledge of CAISO regulations and the energy storage market.
- Proven experience in contract management and vendor coordination.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field is preferred.
